Step 3: Prime and first coat
Primer where it's needed, then the first coat in every room.

Cutting in at the baseboard - 04Day 3 and 4
Step 4: Second coat and trim
The second coat, then doors and trim once the walls are dry to the touch.

Trim last - 05Last day
Step 5: Walk-through and cleanup
We lift the tape with you, touch up what you point out and take the covers out.
Three situations
Closing and moving in on different days
Tell us which one is yours and we'll plan around it.
Keys in hand, movers in a week
The tightest case. Book the consult the day you have the keys and we'll say what fits.
Closing and moving in the same day
Paint after the move, one room at a time, with the furniture in the middle of each room.
Not closed yet
Send photos and the floor plan. We'll plan the colors and hold the estimate until you have the house.
Questions about painting before a move
How long does a few rooms take?
Two to five days is typical for a few empty rooms. The estimate gives day ranges you can plan around, not a promised date.
Does the paint need to dry before the furniture goes in?
Yes, and we tell you when. Walls are dry to the touch within hours, and we ask you to wait before leaning anything against them.
Can you hold a date before closing?
We can pencil one in. We confirm it once you have the keys.
