The studio
A color practice that grew a paint crew
Foothill began as color consulting. Clients kept asking who could paint what Mariama had picked, so she hired painters and kept the consult as the front door.
Today it's one consultant, two estimators and a crew of nine. The people who choose the colors and write the estimate are the people you meet first, and the crew paints from their notes.
How we work
Four habits
Color before quote
We choose colors first, so the estimate names them instead of guessing.
Everything in writing
Rooms, coats, sheens, prep and what's left out, line by line.
Same people, start to finish
The estimator who measures is the one who answers your questions.
A walk-through at the end
We lift the tape with you and touch up what you point out.
